Just a short 3 hour drive out of Carlsbad today, and before we knew it, we were out of the desert and in the Sacramento Mountains, and passing some snow along the way.

We needed to stretch our legs, so we stopped at Pistachio Land and saw the world's largest pistachio...

And then on to White Sands National Park to do some more hiking...

Once again, it seemed like we had the whole park to ourselves and the weather was perfect....

It was so beautiful, that we decided to stick around for the sunset...

We leave in the morning for Paradise Valley/Phoenix AZ. Looking forward to hanging out for the week and putting some miles on the bikes instead of the car!
