Finding Paradise

As beautiful as White Sands National Park was, we were not sad to leave Tom's one and ONLY (thankfully!) Airbnb pick behind! I believe this picture says it all, and we have agreed that his "picker" needs work! Thankfully it was only for 1 night! :0

So we left New Mexico yesterday ... and headed to Arizona

We arrived in Paradise Valley last night... (ummm - my Airbnb pick)

We woke up to the most amazing views of Camelback Mountain just outside of our casita, and quickly understood why it is called Paradise Valley.

We headed out for the day and biked about 30 miles on the Phoenix Greenway. The weather was perfect and the views were stunning...

After a full day of biking, we headed back to the Airbnb and enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and the hot tub!

We are still trying to figure out why the owners Airbnb their casita, because their property is so beautiful... but they do! The grounds are amazing, complete with citrus trees every where - can't wait for some fresh grapefruit for breakfast tomorrow...

More beautiful weather predicted for tomorrow, so planning to hike Camel Back Mountain!

Hey in my defense, there weren't a lot of Airbnb options in Alamogordo, New Mexico. And, the B&B was a self-proclaimed (I think) Premiere accommodation! The host was very nice, but we think she was the twin sister of Darlene from the Ozark series! It's all part of the journey!!!

LOL...better watch out for Darlene. She is a dangerous woman. Hopefully, Blanche will be traveling with extra grid paper so she can leave the renovation plan for any Airbnb, that is not up to her standards.

Darlene was a trip! ... and yes a bit scary, but she cooked us a nice breakfast and we didn't die. :0 Tom definitely does not get to pick accommodations again!
