Over the past couple of days, we have stayed busy in Wanaka. Took a hike above the town - the views were pretty epic..

Afterwards we went to a local restaurant/salmon farm where you can catch your own dinner - if you want. After our hike, we had worked up a pretty big appetite and didn’t have the patience to wait, so we just ordered off of the menu. The salmon was amazing!

… we also took a jet boat ride up the Clutha River.

Wanaka is beautiful and has been a lot of fun…

but we head out tomorrow for the Hokitika Gorge to meet up with some other folks for our 5 day bike trip up the west coast. Can’t wait!
