We’ve enjoyed our extra long stay here in Taupo over the holidays. They celebrate a bit differently here in NZ. It feels like they have not commercialized Christmas in the same way that we are used to - really nice! No big light displays - well, except for the amazing sunsets. We took a sunset cruise to celebrate the end of a year filled with so much!
