We ended the bike trip with lots a good memories and some new friends. We’re staying in Punakaki for a few days before we head further up the west coast and cut over to Able Tasman National Park.

Punakaki is a neat little coastal town with some very unusual rock formations. They call them “the pancake rocks” because of the way they are stacked…

… and just an all around beautiful stretch of coastline…
