After a pretty rough night, we woke up to beautiful weather and calm breezes. We continued on to Urupukapuka island where Captain Russell served us up a delicious breakfast, and then dropped us off on one end of the island with plans for him to pick us up in Paradise Cove on the other side in a few hours…

The landscape on the other side of the island changed dramatically, and was just breathtaking…

… and it changed again when we found our meeting spot in Paradise Cove. A beautiful spot for a swim so we jumped in. Captain Russell picked us up, fed us an amazing lunch, and we watched the sailboat races go by…

Tom was inspired and gave it a shot…

… but decided that it was hard work, and said he needed a nap…

It was a full day of fun!
