We crossed over The Continental Divide (again) to the west side of Glacier national park on The Going-to-the-Sun Road. That was an adventure all by itself, and maybe a couples therapy trust exercise?

But we were still talking to each other when we made it to the other side, and neither of us got tossed out of the car window, so that was a plus...

(although I guess I did have an opportunity to give Tom a little nudge into the Lake here...)

The scenery was beautiful and felt a bit more like the Pacific Northwest again...

... and we finally saw a few small black bears rummaging around for some of the last berries of the season, but of course in the excitement I didn't get a good photo - they just looked like a couple of tourists hunting for a pair of lost keys in the bushes. No grizzlies thankfully!
At the end of a very long day of hiking, we finally did try some huckleberry pie to see what all of the hoopla was about - it was really good!

On to Bozeman tomorrow - a short stop over point on our way to Wind Caves and The Badlands... and our final destination - Chicago! Can't wait to see Kelsey and Ben! :)
