Made a slight itinerary change and added a stop into Page Arizona. Page is known mostly for their beautiful slot canyons, but The Glen Canyon National Recreation was an unexpected surprise..

We hiked along the shoreline and crossed the Utah state line without realizing it....

The dam and suspension bridge that creates the recreation area was amazing, especially considering that it was constructed back in the 50s...

We took a late afternoon tour of the Secret Antelope slot canyons. They can only be seen with a Navajo guide because they are on tribal land. So we found our guy, and after a bit of off-roading...

we were there!

so into the canyons we went... They were just incredible!

and the further we went, the more it felt like we were on another planet..

We made it out the other side, and ended the day by watching the sunset at horseshoe bend..

A great to finish our time in Arizona! Tomorrow we head to Moab Utah, and start our loop of "The Utah Big 5". Looking forward to meeting up with Bob and Nancy there! :)
