Today we visited Wind Cave National Park..

Not even close to the visually stunning beauty of Carlsbad Caverns, but interesting for different reasons. Over 120 miles of the caves have been explored, but it is estimated that is only 10% of the total length of the caves. It is considered to be a "dry cave" so no fancy stalagmites, but there is an aquafer even deeper beneath the surface...

Up top, is Custer State Park where we found a few of these guys hanging around...
