Today was the second day of REALLY hot weather, so we headed to the Palm Springs Tramway. So you get into one of these cable cars (built in 1963 :0) with 40 of your closest friends...

... Added bonus - it rotates as you ascend so everyone gets 360 views - and in less than 10 minutes you have an 8,500 elevation gain...

It was a bit scary - especially when the tram "swings between the towers!"

But we made it! So even though it was 100 degrees in the valley - we spent the day hiking in snow...

and enjoying spectacular views!

We ended the day with a concert in the park with an Abba tribute band. They were actually pretty good - and Tom knew all of the words of course (or at least his version)!
