We arrived in Lake Tekapo late yesterday and got to enjoy the most beautiful full moon rise (even though the picture looks like a sunset!)

… got up this morning ready to do some hiking! The scenery was amazing and the weather was perfect!

We headed up to the observatory and the cosmic cafe…

kinda cute…

…headed back down and hiked along the lake back to the trail head...

It felt great to get our hiking shoes dirty again!
