We’ve done some exploring around Hobart over the past 5 days - it’s a cool town with some amazing scenery!

We had a beautiful clear day, so we biked (down!) Mt. Wellington…. Up was not an option!

Checked out the botanical gardens, and this little guy with a great head of hair was just sitting there singing away… the bird - not Tom 😂

One of the most unusual things we did was going to “MONA”. Musuem of Old and New Art. So, you get on this ferry…

with some extra permanent passengers… (but you are allowed to ride them!)

It was very eclectic for sure!

The ferry ride (kinda) starts to prepare you for what you experience when you get to this sort of “James Bond island”…

… and the actual “art” - hummm…. Most of the art is displayed underground. There was the “poop machine”, and it is just what it sounds like. The machine eats and then poops like clock work…

Tom was duly impressed and took good notes.

One of the few displays not underground was “The Confessional”. People go into a booth and talk (about anything!), and it is broadcasted through this building sized megaphone.

… I dunno - there were real fish actually swimming around in the bowl 🤷‍♀️. No title - but maybe “sushi tonight?”

Was a Ferrari?

An interesting afternoon for sure! Tomorrow we head to Bruny Island!
