We arrived in Bangkok today in time to settle into our hotel on the Chao Phraya River. The hotel is beautiful, and a great place to watch all of the crazy boat activity right from our balcony.

As far as I can tell, maritime rules don’t apply here, and it’s a big game of chicken where the biggest boat has dibs on the right of way!

We grabbed a ferry and did some evening sight seeing…

The temples along the river are stunning when they are lit up at night….

We hopped off and took a brisk walk (definitely not a relaxing stroll!) through China town…

Seems that anything that flies, walks, crawls, or swims is fair game for the buffet. All protein? 😝

Hard pass for me, but interesting!
